CLINIQUE LABORATORIES' GUIDING DERMATOLOGISTS

In 1967, Dr. Norman Orentreich and Carol Phillips, then beauty editor of Vogue, were enlisted to create a new product line for the Estée Lauder Company based not just on makeup but on skincare, the first of its kind. Using non-prescription skincare formulas developed for his patients, Dr. Orentreich helps create Clinique, the first dermatologist-guided, allergy tested, 100% fragrance-free cosmetic brand. Clinique premieres at Saks Fifth Avenue department store in New York City in 1968

Today, Dr. David Orentreich and Dr. Catherine Orentreich continue their father’s legacy and are Clinique Laboratories’ guiding dermatologists.
